The Turkish Industry & Business Association (TÜSİAD), Turkey’s most influential business association, released its inaugural report on the Turkish entrepreneurship ecosystem on July 2, 2024 at an event attended by market participants and the media. The report, entitled “Türkiye: A Leading Hub for Startups and Tech Companies in EMEA” highlights the strengths of, and opportunities available to, the Turkish ecosystem by benchmarking it against other jurisdictions in the EMEA region based on objective criteria. As part of the event, Managing Partner Kerem Turunç led a panel discussion with sector participants about the state of the Turkish ecosystem. TURUNÇ has advised Pollet Medical Group, a Belgium-based provider of medical services and solutions for the healthcare industry, on obtaining the approval of the Turkish Competition Board for Pollet’s majority acquisition of Farmasol, a specialty pharmaceutical company.
