TURUNÇ to Chair the CEE Legal Matters 2018 Turkey General Counsel Summit

TURUNÇ will be Chairman Sponsor of the 2018 Turkey General Counsel Summit, being organized by CEE Legal Matters and to be held in Istanbul on November 8, 2018. CEE Legal Matters is a publication covering law firm news and legal developments in Central and Eastern Europe.

The summit will bring together in house counsel and law firm practitioners, and include various panel discussions and speeches on a range of topics including corporate governance, the changing roles of in house departments, data protection laws and cross-border transactions.

Managing Partner Kerem Turunç will chair the entire summit and also moderate a panel discussion entitled “Expanding Beyond Turkey” to be joined by Atike Kökbudak of Kordsa Holding, Nazlı Dereli Oba of Karadeniz Holding and Nilüfer Türkçü Hıra of Çalık Holding.

Counsel Esin Çamlıbel will moderate a panel discussion entitled GDPR and “Turkey’s Data Protection Laws” to be joined by Ceren Arslan of Klepierre Turkey, Hakan Bekiroğlu of TOFAŞ, Hilal Utku of L’Oréal and Merve Öney of MAPFRE Genel Sigorta.
