ILGIN EROĞLU ALYANAK

Ilgın Eroğlu Alyanak is a counsel based in the Istanbul and Washington D.C. offices of TURUNÇ, and co-leads the Firm’s banking and finance practice. She has extensive experience in energy, infrastructure, M&A and commercial real estate transactions in multisource financings.

Before joining TURUNÇ, Ilgın Eroğlu Alyanak worked at Garanti BBVA for over a decade, focusing primarily on project finance transactions. During her tenure at Garanti BBVA, she was responsible for, among other things, the procurement of legal services for the bank’s project finance department for the structuring and restructuring of finance transactions. She has also worked for the World Bank in Washington, D.C., advising a project country’s government officials on the establishment of an investment fund center. Prior to that, Ms. Alyanak was with a leading firm in Istanbul covering a wide range of corporate matters for domestic and international clients.

Ms. Alyanak holds an LL.M. degree in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C. and a bachelor’s degree from Marmara University Law School in Istanbul, Turkey.
