İltem Dokurlar is the co-head of TURUNÇ’s capital markets, funds, and ports and terminals practices, as well as the Firm’s UK Desk.
Before joining TURUNÇ, İltem Dokurlar was chief legal counsel at Borsa Istanbul, Turkey’s national stock exchange, and Yıldırım Holding, a Turkish multinational conglomerate.
Mr. Dokurlar has extensive experience in securities regulation, capital markets transactions and corporate governance of publicly traded companies as well as cross-border M&A and finance transactions.
His geographical experience spans across many countries, including the Netherlands, Portugal, Malta, the United States, Mexico, Venezuela and Kazakhstan.
He holds an LL.M. degree in banking and finance law from Queen Mary University of London, another LL.M. degree from Istanbul Bilgi University and an LL.B. degree from the Ankara University School of Law.
