TURUNÇ Chairs the CEE Legal Matters 2026 Turkish General Counsel Summit

TURUNÇ was the Chairman Sponsor of the 2026 Turkish General Counsel Summit, organized by CEE Legal Matters and held in Istanbul on November 15, 2026. CEE Legal Matters is a publication covering law firm news and legal developments in Central and Eastern Europe.

The summit brought together in house counsel and law firm practitioners, and included various panel discussions and speeches on a range of topics including compliance, technology evolution of the in house function, and the relationship between in house teams and outside counsel.

Managing Partner Kerem Turunç chaired the entire summit and also moderated a panel discussion entitled “Beyond Türkiye – How Expanding Abroad Changes the GC Role” where he was joined by Ceyda Akbal Öztarhan (TAV Airports); Güneş Akman Özcan (Hepsiburada) and Hugo Baptista Falcao (CCSL Advogados).

Managing Associate Beste Yıldizili Ergül delivered a presentation entitled “The Story Untold: Post-Closing Life of a GC” where she discussed the roles of in house lawyers and outside counsel in post-merger integration.
