“Kim o, deme boşuna…
Benim, ben.
Öyle bir ben ki gelen kapına;
Baştan başa sen.”

“Don’t ask who it is needlessly…
It’s I, it’s me.
Such a me who comes to your door;
You, in its entirety.”

Özdemir Asaf (1923 – 1981)

We provide an integrated service to clients across the industry, from manufacturing through to distribution, retail, exportation/importation and customs matters, and aftermarket services. Our work includes advising on M&A transactions, joint ventures, financings, outsourcing agreements, competition law, taxation, employment issues, intellectual property, and dispute resolution. We pool the extensive knowledge and experience of our corporate and specialist lawyers as well as our litigators for the benefit of our clients in the automotive industry and provide them with cutting-edge legal advice that is truly full-service. We consider the legal issues our clients face with a deep understanding of the commercial context that we have gathered over almost two decades of experience in the industry to provide sensible and workable solutions.

We have been involved in many high profile domestic and cross-border M&A and joint venture deals in the sector. Our industry experience coupled with our extensive M&A experience allows us to provide the most efficient execution of M&A and joint venture deals in the automotive sector. Furthermore, our banking and finance, competition, employment and intellectual property practices allow us to provide the full range of services in a cost-effective manner in M&A and joint venture transactions, and to deliver ongoing post-closing advice. For example, our competition lawyers are highly experienced in getting Competition Board clearances for M&A transactions as well as advising on and drafting dealer and service agreements, and structuring dealer networks.

We believe that our dispute resolution practice in the sector is unparalleled. We have litigated thousands of consumer claims, product liability suits and intellectual property cases relating to the automotive industry. We also have broad experience throughout Turkey in combating counterfeit goods, including raid actions, and dispute resolution with infringing parties.

We have represented over the years many multinational and domestic clients operating in the automotive sector, including, among others, Android Industries, Fiat, General Motors, İnci Holding, Itochu, Nissan and Valeo.
