NOYAN TURUNÇ

Founding Partner Noyan Turunç has decades of experience advising multinational and domestic corporations on corporate governance and other issues.

Mr. Turunç’s transactional experience covers a wide spectrum of areas, including banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), insolvencies, project finance, competition (antitrust), labor and employment, and tax. Mr. Turunç also has extensive experience in litigation with respect to all of these fields.

Before founding TURUNÇ, Noyan Turunç was general counsel at Boeing Services Inc. (Turkey) and The Coca-Cola Export Corporation (Turkey). He has also served as an independent board member and chairman of the audit committee of Aksigorta, a publicly listed company and one of the largest insurance companies in Turkey.

Noyan Turunç received his LL.B. degree and his LL.M. degree (in competition law) from the Ankara University School of Law.

Mr. Turunç has decades of experience in advising domestic and international corporate and financial institutions in a wide variety of industries including automotive, banking, consumer goods, energy, healthcare, industrial goods, information technology, insurance and reinsurance, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications across many jurisdictions including Turkey, the European Union, the United States, Asia and Latin America.

Mr. Turunç is the author and co-author of numerous publications, including the books The Law and Practice of Mergers and Acquisitions in Turkey, Turkish Labor Law and Çevre Hukuku Araştırmaları (A Survey of Environmental Law).

Noyan Turunç received his LL.B. degree and his LL.M. degree from the Ankara University. In addition to his bar admission in Turkey, he is a member of the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
