TURUNÇ has advised Royalton Partners, a Central and Eastern Europe-focused private equity firm, on the sale of its portfolio company Lexpera S.A., a Luxembourg-based group specializing in legal information platforms and publishing, with operations in Turkey, Slovenia and Croatia, to Total Specific Solutions (TSS), a Netherlands-based leading European vertical market software (VMS) group.

The acquisition marks TSS’s entry into the Turkish, Slovenian and Croatian markets, as well as the legal publishing sector. It also represents a significant milestone for the growing Turkish growing legaltech ecosystem, demonstrating the international appeal of technology-driven legal information businesses developed and operated in the region.

The transaction also marks a landmark exit for TURUNÇ through its investment affiliate, TRNC Ventures, from the firm’s first legaltech investment, made more than a decade ago. Founded in 2014, TRNC Ventures was an early investor in legal technology, recognizing the sector’s transformative potential long before the recent surge of interest in artificial intelligence and legaltech startups. The successful exit reflects TURUNÇ’s longstanding commitment to identifying, supporting and investing in innovative technologies that are reshaping the legal profession.

TURUNÇ has been at the forefront of technology and innovation for decades, combining its legal advisory practice with direct investment in emerging technologies. Through TRNC Ventures and its broader innovation initiatives, the firm has supported pioneering businesses in legaltech and adjacent sectors, helping bridge the gap between legal expertise, entrepreneurship and technological innovation.

The TURUNÇ team advising on the transaction included Noyan Turunç, Kerem Turunç, Esin Çamlıbel, Beste Yıldızili Ergül and Naz Esen.

Van Campen Liem also advised Royalton Partners and Lexpera.
