TURUNÇ advises domestic and multinational clients on all aspects of labor and employment laws.
Our practice has three main components: compliance, transactions and dispute resolution.
On the compliance side, we advise on the following issues, among others:
- individual employment and collective labor agreements
- contracting out of services
- confidentiality agreements and restrictive covenants
- employee invention assignment agreements
- individual and group severance arrangements
- executive remuneration, and related regulatory and disclosure obligations
- data privacy
We also advise on all employment law aspects of corporate transactions, in particular mergers and acquisitions. Our advice includes, among other things the following:
- due diligence
- structuring
- transfer of employees including automatic transfers
- assessment of potential post-closing liability by acquiror including as they relate to severance payments
- drafting and negotiation of transfer agreements
- notifications to pertinent authorities
- post-closing integration work
We also have a large employment dispute resolution practice, which includes, among other work, the following:
- defending employers against claims by current and ex-employees
- representing employers in mediation and all stages of litigation.
- representing employers against employees and ex-employees who misappropriate trade secrets
