M&A work represents a significant proportion of the Firm’s corporate law activity. Our corporate lawyers have extensive experience in business acquisitions, private takeovers, mergers, reorganizations and joint ventures.
We provide advice, on both buy and sell sides, to domestic and international corporations and private equity funds on all aspects of M&A transactions including drafting and negotiation of purchase agreements and other documentation, transaction structure, deal management, due diligence, regulatory and financing issues, tax structuring, environmental issues, labor and employment matters, administrative submissions, approvals, registrations, as well as clearance from the Turkish Competition Board.
Our other practices, in particular banking and finance, competition, employment, funds and intellectual property, allow us to provide the full range of services to our M&A clients.
TURUNÇ published the book The Law and Practice of Mergers and Acquisitions in Turkey in 2009. We have also contributed to various international publications in this area including regular contributions to Lexology: Getting the Deal Through’s Private M&A title.
